Queen Street West is bluboho's flagship. It sits at the intersection of Spadina and Queen — one of the most culturally alive corners in Canada — and it is where our most intimate, highest-stakes guest experiences happen every single day. The person who leads this store will be the best Beloved consultant in the company. They will close engagement ring sales with the confidence of someone who has done it a hundred times and the warmth of someone doing it for the very first time.

You know your AOV, your conversion rate, your Beloved pipeline. You feel the gap between where you are and your goal, and you close it — creatively, relentlessly, and with a smile. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the Beloved experience — this is your primary mission.
— Own the Beloved consultation pipeline across Queen Street and provide oversight and coaching across the fleet
— Be the subject matter expert in engagement rings, gemology, and the emotional arc of every Beloved appointment
— Close high-AOV ring sales with confidence, empathy, and deep product knowledge
— Develop and coach your connectors to become exceptional Beloved consultants in their own right
— Build the Beloved community organically through events, clienteling, and genuine human relationships


Run the flagship like you own it.
— Set and execute the store's sales strategy — monthly, quarterly, annually
— Analyze performance data daily and take action without being asked
— Manage payroll, scheduling, and operating costs with the discipline of a true business owner
— Maintain an immaculate physical environment that reflects the luxury and warmth of the brand
— Ensure every operational standard is met with integrity — from opening checklist to cycle count

— Recruit, hire, and develop connectors who embody the bluboho spirit
— Lead a culture of love, accountability, and continuous growth
— Give feedback in real time, celebrate wins loudly, and coach gaps with honesty and care
— Identify and develop your successors — great leaders build more leaders
— Create a store environment where your team genuinely loves to come to work

— Model the Long Lost Friend experience — make every guest feel genuinely known
— Resolve guest concerns with grace, speed, and generosity
— Drive community events, designer collaborations, and sip+shop moments that deepen loyalty
— Ensure the guest experience at Queen Street sets the standard for the entire company

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Must have
— Demonstrated experience selling engagement rings or fine jewelry at a consultative level — this is non-negotiable for
success at this location
— 2–3 years of retail management experience with a proven track record of hitting sales targets
— The confidence to close a significant sale and the humility to listen first, always
— Exceptional interpersonal skills — you can read a room, build rapport in minutes, and hold a conversation that makes
people feel at home
— A storyteller's instinct: you don't recite features, you create meaning
— Entrepreneurial ownership mentality — you do not wait to be told what to do
— Availability for full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
— Ability to travel within the GTA to support other locations as needed

Nice to have
— GIA certification or formal gemology training
— Experience in luxury retail or fine jewelry
— An existing community in Toronto's creative or fashion world
— Experience running events or clienteling programs
