Position Overview: We are seeking a Social Concierge based in Toronto with 3–5 years' experience across social media, sales, and community building. You live in Toronto, love and know your city well. This role is an equal balance of four things: brand steward and community builder, jewelry expert, salesperson, and creative storyteller. You protect and extend the bluboho voice with care and consistency across every platform and interaction. You know fine jewelry deeply — its craft, its meaning, its world — and you use that knowledge to guide people toward pieces that matter to them. You sell without pressure, through genuine connection and expertise. You create content and stories that move people from first discovery to confident purchase. You are the digital extension of the warmth and magic our in-store team delivers every day, reporting to the VP Brand/CD and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Stewardship & Community Building

  • Protect and extend the bluboho brand voice across every platform and interaction with consistency and care and full understanding of our audience

  • Actively nurture our online community — responding to DMs, comments, and product questions with the warmth of an in-store associate

  • Identify and manage relationships with brand-aligned creators, ambassadors, and partners

  • Translate community insights back into content, product, and business recommendations

Jewelry Expertise & Sales

  • Bring deep knowledge of fine jewelry — materials, craft, occasion, and meaning — to every customer interaction

  • Actively guide customers from curiosity to confident purchase through DMs, comments, and community engagement

  • Treat every digital touchpoint as a sales opportunity rooted in genuine connection and product love

  • Contribute directly and measurably to revenue through social and community channels

Creative Storytelling & Content

  • Concept, direct, and produce content for Instagram, Stories, Reels, and paid social

  • Create content that educates and inspires — the craft behind our jewelry, the meaning it carries, the occasions it marks

  • Move people through the full customer journey from first discovery to confident purchase

  • Plan and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns and product launches, with built-in agility for real-time pivots and cultural moments (~20% flexibility)

Campaign & Cross-Channel Execution

  • Lead social execution for product launches, seasonal moments, and brand campaigns

  • Attend shoots to capture BTS and video content that extends the produced imagery and maintains a high standard of quality across all platforms

  • Coordinate consistency across social, email, and paid media

Social Strategy & Analytics

  • Own and evolve bluboho's presence across all social platforms

  • Develop and execute a social strategy that builds community, drives engagement, and contributes directly to sales

  • Track platform performance and translate data into actionable strategy adjustments

  • Stay ahead of trends, platform changes, and cultural moments — and act on them fast

 

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, sales, community, or a related creative field

  • Deep genuine love for fine jewelry, personal style, and the stories objects carry

  • Demonstrated ability to build engaged communities and drive measurable results

  • Proven sales ability — comfortable guiding customers and closing with warmth and expertise

  • Strong portfolio showcasing social strategy, brand storytelling, and business impact

  • Experience with influencer and partnership programs

  • Comfortable with social scheduling and analytics tools (Later, Sprout, or similar)

  • Proficient in content editing tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)

  • Proficient in Asana and Microsoft tools

  • Leverages AI to support and streamline workflow

  • Retail or clienteling background an asset
